Are you lost and confused trying put together a nice website? This article will show you the simple steps that need to be taken to get a website up and running with WordPress. You will also learn how to build a free website for beginners.

Steps on how to set up a WordPress Site

1) Web Hosting

I like to use Go Daddy for my hosting and domains, because they are very cheap, and their site is very easy to navigate through. Don’t know much about hosting or domains? Don’t worry it will all be explained.

Yes, you could also go with free web hosting, but I don’t recommend that, as WordPress requires a database to work and even the best free web hosts have problems with this.

2) Install WordPress

Just go to the Word Press Website. It is completely free to download the software.

3) Upload a WordPress Template

You will need to pick out a theme that fits the content of your site.

Now, those are the steps that you will need to take to put up a basic website. If you are very new with WordPress or Internet Marketing, then I suggest you take some online courses that demonstrate every single aspect that you will need to know in order to create a good looking site, so you can also make money using WordPress. Don’t know where to go for training? Don’t worry! I will show you many different online resources that will break down every step of the learning process for you.

For a long time I have struggled to find good material that can teach an average person to build phenomenal websites. Some people charge over $5,000.00 to build a website for you. Wouldn’t it be nice if you had the ability to make one on your own? It’s really not as difficult as it may seem.

Now days their are plenty of tools on the web that you can use to learn. Everyone has a different style of learning that works for them. I personally like to watch videos and webinars that show everything step by step. Maybe you are a business owner that needs additional exposure, maybe you are an affiliate marketer trying to work from home. Whatever the case may be, internet presence is becoming more vital as more and more people do there buying online.

I have been in that position of wanting to give up, wanting to learn, but not knowing where to look. That is why I have compiled a list of all the tools and resources that I used, and still currently use to be successful creating websites and venturing into the online atmosphere.
